Introduzione al corso
Avendo accettato l’invito di dare un contributo alla Sezione molisana dell'Istituto Italiano dei Castelli, che frequento come socio già da alcuni anni, ho proposto un corso gratuito di formazione guidata per l’apprendimento dell' inglese. Lo scopo è quello di offrire il risultato di esperienze acquisite nel settore della ricerca, della formazione e della didattica con particolare riferimento alle lingue straniere moderne. Il mio lungo percorso professionale dedicato all’insegnamento dell’inglese e del francese presso gli istituti superiori e licei statali in Italia, della didattica delle lingue presso le università di Urbino, di Cassino e del Molise, oltre all’incarico di Presidente nazionale dell’ANILS (Associazione degli insegnanti di lingue straniere) e direttore editoriale della rivista “Scuola e lingue moderne” edita dalla Loescher di Milano, mi ha permesso di seguire da vicino tutte le moderne teorie della didattica nell’insegnamento delle lingue.  A questo si aggiunge l’esperienza acquisita nella gestione delle attività di formazione, quale direttore degli Istituti regionali di ricerca educativa (IRRE) di Perugia, Campobasso e Napoli, che mi ha consentito di acquisire un patrimonio immateriale che, dal momento che mi sono ritirato dalla professione attiva per raggiunti limiti di età, sono disponibile ad impiegare per fornire gratuitamente un servizio utile ai soci ed agli amici della Sezione molisana. Considerato che dal 2010, anno del mio pensionamento ad oggi, l’evoluzione delle tecnologie applicate alla didattica ha messo a disposizione strumenti utilissimi al sostegno linguistico, inimmaginabili solo qualche anno addietro, ho pensato di elaborare un percorso formativo per l’apprendimento delle lingue moderne, completamente innovativo e accattivante, che trova una sua prosecuzione nell’impiego a casa del PC, del tablet o del cellulare di ultima generazione.
Il corso è mirato al potenziamento della abilità di comprensione all’ascolto, alla lettura, alla scrittura, alla produzione orale, al graduale arricchimento lessicale, all’acquisizione di una grammatica induttiva ed è improntato ad un metodo di totale immersione linguistica.
